Video Call between iPhone and Macs with Facetime Beta Download

Submitted by on October 20, 2010 – 7:21 pmOne Comment

If you have an iPhone 4 or new iPod Touch, you may have tried out FaceTime to make video phone calls.  If you don’t have a iPhone 4, you may have watched others make those calls longingly.  Facetime just works. Apple has just released a download beta (trial version) for Facetime on the Mac.  You can now call Mac to Mac or Mac to iphone or iPod Touch.

Here’s the download link…more to come.

Works fine. Faster and better picture than Skype.  Only problem– now I’ll have to style my hair and put on makeup just to sit at my computer and work.

I'll need to start wearing Makeup when I work!

Plus, you can create lists of favorite friends (maybe those that have a Mac and Facetime), and choose directly from your Contact list. Press the star for Favorites, then press plus to add those contacts to your favorite list.
