Pandora Makes it Easy to Share Music

You don’t have to be too tech-savvy to use Pandora.  Pandora will create a “radio station” that plays music based on a song or an artist that you like.   Now Pandora has made it easy to let others know when you have listened to a song you really like.  (And lets you train it to play more songs you like when you click on thumbs up or thumbs down under a song that is playing). Now you’ll find buttons to share your song (or the whole radio station)  posting them in a message on twitter or your facebook page simply by clicking on the twitter or facebook logo above the playing song.

You’ll also see that there is a little gift box next to the twitter and facebook logos.  That gift box will let you share one of your radio stations with a friend, or create a new radio station for someone else based on their favorite artists or songs.  It’s like when someone gave you a mix of songs recorded on a CD, only this is faster and easier.

Here’s an example,  I know my mom likes “Phantom of the Opera” and Frank Sinatra.  I create a station for mom.  Since she has a Samsung Blu-ray Disc player with Pandora, I want to make it easy for her to get new stations.  She can click on the button in her email and start playing the station.  The station then automatically gets added to her station list that she can access on her Samsung BD player.

Thanks to MG Siegler and Techcrunch for posting this news.  Check out his post for more details.
