What you need to do is “redeem” the new card. In the iTunes store on your computer, go to your account email address that is in the upper right of the window. When you hover over the arrow you’ll see a menu that includes “redeem”…go to that window and redeem the code on the new card (you may have to scratch off the silver stuff to get to the number). If you are on an iPad or iPod, you can get to the redeem screen by tapping on “featured” then scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen. Tap on “redeem” and put in the number.

I got an itunes card and ive spent all the money that was on there and now some ones brought me a new card and I dont know how to change the code to the code thats on the new card from the old code?

Here’s the email to write to: http://iforgot.apple.com — hopefully you can remember the email address you used and they can help you. They’ll ask you other questions like what is your credit card number or something else that’s personal and you can ultimately get it. Good luck!

What do you do if you are locked out of your iTunes account and you tried to do the e-mail and the question thing but it still didn’t work? Mainly because it didn’t recognize the e-mail address or the answer to the security question.
