This Just In- MobileMe Subscribers can finally Find their misplaced phone!

Submitted by admin on June 18, 2009 – 8:15 pmNo Comment

I lose everything if I’m not paying attention.  I have a place for my keys, but my phone often slips into the folds of my purse.  I even left my driver’s license at the cable company last week.  Whether it’s age or just scattered focus, I put things down and forget where.  How many times have I asked my son or boyfriend to call my phone to help me find it in the house?

MobileMe to the rescue.  It can play a tone (even if the iPhone is on vibrate) so you can find it in your house or you can send it a message if you’ve left it outside the home so that someone who finds the phone can contact you.  (Displaying a message like “Please don’t steal me…I’ll do anything, even reward  you!  Call my home #555-555-5555). And it even has a locator so the GPS can tell you where you left it.  And if all else fails you can wipe the data from the phone so someone can’t get your passwords and personal info.

It just keeps getting better… check out more at MobileMe.  (and remember you have to have a mobileme account with Mac.com)
