You can move the box to focus on what YOU WANT on this 3 MP camera

Don’t get me wrong. I love my iPhone. I have the original model but I didn’t buy it for myself. My son upgraded to the 3G iPhone model last year and I inherited his original iPhone. I coveted his GPS navigational abilities but if I were really honest with myself, there were some features that other smart phones I’ve owned could do.

Click here to view Apples iPhone 3G(s) video.

Like video…I could not believe that there hadn’t been video before.

But leave it to Apple, when they do video they do it right…
The new iPhone not only SHOOTs video, it lets you EDIT IT right there onscreen–choosing each little frame you want– and then email it or Post it to YouTube (talk about getting real time eyewitness accounts of events!)

Or voice calling and voice recognition Again, most of my old phones could be trained to call certain people.

But leave it to Apple, their voice recognition can call ANY ONE of my hundreds of friends and business contacts.

Plus it can understand commands to play any song, album, artist or playlist, or to pause, skip forward or backward. Now you can tell your iPhone what to do in plain English!

And then there’s search! Finally, my iPhone will sift through all my mail messages, contacts, etc. and find everything I need for the project I’m working on. Or find the contact I need. Or find the app from the hundreds I’ve downloaded.

And there’s copy and paste. Now I can copy from a web page and put it in a message or note, or from one email to the next or basically take the words and pictures and put it wherever I want.

And yes, I’ll get GPS. But even here Apple did it right
When you turn to follow the map on the phone, the map orients to the direction you are heading so you don’t have to keep turning the phone to see which way to turn next.

Can’t wait to get it. Will let you know if it’s everything I’ve been waiting for.

And here’s a review from Wired or from Engadget who already has tested it…
